NOVA PlaneFormer San Diego Radio Pro, Neil Ross narrates The Deadliest Plane Crash on this week’s edition of Nova. On March 27, 1977, on the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands, two fully loaded Boeing 747 jumbo jets collided on a fog-blanketed runway. This claimed the lives of 583 people in what is still the deadliest crash in aviation history.  Watch on KPBS-TV 15, and enjoy the program in HD.
