Breaking Adam Carolla: Danny Bonoduce added to morning show

Adam CarollaMega UPDATEs: Free FM shakes up the morning show line up and adds Danny Bonoduce to morning drive with Adam Carolla.

Former sidekick Big Tad writes: “I just want to set the record straight. Dave Dameshek, Jimmy Brusca and myself were all let go from Free- FM. It was an upper management decision. As of right now, I have no clue what kind of direction they are going with the show. I want to say this though….thank you for the support and kind words you have been leaving us on the message board. I wish nothing but the best for Adam and his crew. Hopefully, we will all be able to entertain you again real soon!”
DannyLARadio.com confirms that Danny Bonoduce has signed a contract with Free FM. He’ll start with Adam on Jan. 2.
Danny was previously on KYSR-FM in Los Angeles and on radio in other markets including Chicago, and Phoenix. He also has a successful reality show on VH1 and has been on CSI this season.

Here’s the transcript of Adam’s promotion that has been running on 103.7 Free FM: “Hey, Adam Carolla here kids. Hope you’re enjoying your Christmas holiday; I know I am. I got a hot totty in my hand, sitting in front of a fire, and I’m stuck in traffic. That’s right, I’m so committed to the Christmas holiday, I’m actually drinking a hot totty and have started a fire in the backseat of my car. Why am I ruining your holiday with my nasally drone? I’ll tell you why. I want to give you a heads up. I’m going to be back come January 2nd, ready for action. The first year I was on - that was a dry run. I wasn’t even trying. Heh, I barely broke a sweat. Now, I’m focused, rejuvenated, and high…I mean committed…to giving you the best entertainment a morning show can deliver. So tune in bright and early January 2nd and listen to the Ace Man - the new and improved Ace Man. Because this year, I’m bringing the yuk.”

What line-up changes for San Diego’s Free FM are expected to be announced next week
