Clear Channel Radio announced today that they will expand the “unique advertising campaign it created with Consolidated Media, a Las Vegas-based vacation resorts operator.” Expect more media celebrity interviews that are disguised to be a sales pitch for a “Las Vegas resort.” The current promotion has featured [1] Tonya Roberts talking with various hosts such as George Noory and several local hosts in the area.
The “interview” is slated for two minutes and offers the listeners a chance to “be a high-roller” if they call toll free number.
With the expansion of this campaign, Consolidated Media is expecting an increase in call volume of six times, to 600 calls per spot.
“Clear Channel Radio is committed to offering advertisers all types of effective advertising solutions, from very short spots to long-form ads. We’re not locked into any one solution,” said Greg Ashlock, Regional Vice President for Clear Channel Radio. “Radio has always been a medium that offers a broad range of creative, promotional opportunities and we’re interested in taking advantage of all of them for our partners.”
Some short form examples are teasers for an upcoming television show from FOX. These two second blip-verts can expand to any length of time.
Clear Channel programs KOGO, KLSD, Channel 933, US 95.7, Star 94.1, 101.5 KGB, and Rock 105.3.
