Mark Larson on FOX News

Mark LarsonKOGO’s Mark Larson will be a guest on the nationally broadcast FOX News Channel Sunday.

Mark is scheduled to be interviewed live on the FOX News at approximately 9:20 a.m. He will be discussing Internet safety for children in light of a federal judge’s ruling this week reversing the Child Online Protection Act.

Mark is a national spokesman for ProtectKids.com and serves on the board of the organization, which works to provide parents guidance and education about how to protect their children from the dangers of the Internet.

Mark Larson is heard weekdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on San Diego’s, AM 600 KOGO.

No-Go on CCU’s move to private

CCUClear Channel Communication’s move to go private appears to be over. Two major stockholders have said they will not vote for the move, citing the company was worth more. CCU’s board wants to take the company private. Both Highfields Capital and Fidelity Investments have said “no” to the deal, derailing the move to be private.

The group operates seven stations in the San Diego market:

US 95.7
101.5 KGB
Rock 105.3
KFI-AM from Los Angeles is often referred to as the 8th station.
