KiFM is doing another concert by the ocean — in North County. “We are bringing Jazz at the Beach back to the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater on Sunday, September 23 from 3:30 p.m., until sunset.”
The show stars Boney James and Paul Taylor and KiFM hosts. See the KiFM web site for more information. Tickets are on sale for the event — and the event will probably sell out as previous events have.
San Diego 1700’s Program Director and morning show host, Mark Larson has begun his regular commentaries on XX Sports Radio at 1090 AM and 105.7 FM. His features were very popular when he was on KOGO. KOGO has adjusted the weekend schedule. Steve Yuhas doubles his talk show to two hours on Sunday. He kicks it off at 4 p.m. Starting at 6 is Rage Radio until the Drudge Report takes to the airwaves at 7 p.m. Steve deserves a second hour and here’s hoping station management gives him one more.
The SD Music Awards are fast approaching on September 17. The event will be at the Concerts in the Park. Once again, all of the proceeds buy San Diego made Taylor Guitars for San Diego elementary schools.
