She’s the voice of reason in a morning show that has the largest audience in the country morning. KSON’s San Diego has Morgan to keep Cliff Dumas and Bill Tanner in line. As the antics play out on KSON, she might be on a cliff and needing a tanner to keep those boys in line. After all, it’s just good country morning fun, sunny side up with a slice of good country cookin’.
Morgan has been in radio over 25 years, working in North Carolina, Florida and New York and KSON. She’s on the west coast for the very first time and she has adapted to ‘Sunny & 70’ very easily! Morgan has been hosting and co-hosting morning shows for over 15 years. During that time, she has been very busy in the radio field. Morgan has won an advertising Addy Award for producing a TV commercial for a station in New York; won a CMA Award for Promotion of the Year in 1997; and honored with two CMA nominations for Broadcast Personality of the Year –one in 2003 and last year.
When not putting up with Cliff and Tanner, Morgan loves sports, especially hockey, football and NASCAR racing. She especially frequents Padres baseball games and Chargers football games.
Hear Morgan, along with the award winning Cliff and Tanner, mornings on KSON.

A grassroots organization is making sure their voice is being heard and felt at Clear Channel Communications‘ San Diego operation. Tomorrow morning another rally will take place starting at 7:30 at 9660 Granite Ridge Drive in San Diego. As before, the plan is to show support for the talk station. The last trend for the station was not favorable and there has been a lot of talk in and out of the station that a format change is in the works.
As before, the rally is planned by listeners outside of the station.
At 10 a.m., Ralph Rubio, will be at the Rubio’s in Mira Mesa. The Rubio Corporation is one of the advertisers at 1360 KLSD. Planners of the rally say “This is a great opportunity to thank Ralph for his company’s continued support of KLSD and encourage him to continue to do so.”
Stay Tuned.
