KLSD drops the talk about change and goes all sports

November line up includes Chris Ello and others

Finally the change is confirmed.

Progressive talker, 1360 KLSD days are numbered. The flagship station for Jon Elliott will drop the current lineup and replace the programming with sports on Nov. 1.

Also out of the 1360 lineup: Stacy Taylor, syndicated Ed Schultz, and Randi Rhodes.

chris_ello.jpgThe new line up on November 1 includes: Chris Ello (pictured), Lee Hacksaw Hamilton. There is a strong possibility that Dave Palet and Jeff Dotseth return to the airwaves. The station is expected to resurrect the famous Xtra Sports moniker.

The current Air America lineup and Ed Schultz could find a home on one of the FM multicast stations using HDRadio. Noted: if you think reception was bad outside of the core broadcast area, HDRadio reception is worse. No word on where Stacy Taylor will remain on the San Diego airwaves.

Stay Tuned.
