KOGO’s afternoon host and Radio Mayor of San Diego Roger Hedgecock is set for his national roll-out on Saturday. Syndicated Solutions brings Roger to the 9 a.m., to noon slot at KOGO and other stations coast-to-coast. The program has about 50-stations lined up, according to the syndication company, with KOGO as the flagship. Roger was previously one of the fill-in hosts for Rush Limbaugh on the EIB network. Early next year, Roger will move his show to a five-day weekday broadcast.
Also starting on Nov. 5, Roger will send a daily 60-second op-ed piece to the stations, including KOGO.
There is a big meetin’ at Granite Ridge today to finalize the start of sports talk on AM 1360. The much-talked but continuously delayed start date might be pushed back until a week from today.
The only confirmation from Clear Channel is in the job board; as upper management have not returned phone calls, nor email.
Thank you for making SDRadio part of your internet travels today! See YOU on the radio and here later in the broadcast week. Stay safe and healthy!
