Magical things happen at 92.5 FM. Jagger and Kristi chair the morning show and long time listeners know their passion for animals. The morning husband and wife team are dog and horse owners. Last week, the good folks from the Helen Woodward Animal Center stopped by to tempt a listener with a welcome addition. Prancer yelped it up and was a nice paws in the morning routine.

xtrasports1360.pngxprs-am.jpgDouble XX Xtra Sports: Yesterdays warm up to football had both XX Sports and Xtra Sports 1360 carrying the same program. At 10 a.m., Fox Sports’ NFL preview radio show could be heard on 1090 AM, 105.7 FM and on 1360 AM. This arrangement ends in early December when 1360 AM becomes the only station in the market to carry Fox Sports.

Today, XX Sports 1090 is hinting at a major announcement.

Almost Live Sports: Rock 105.3’s coverage of the San Diego Chargers is on target and delivers as good as Philip Rivers’ arm. However if you are at the stadium and wanting to listen to the game live … you’ll have to wait several seconds. The main reason is HDRadio. In order for the signal to be in sync between the analog and digital broadcast a delay is introduced. So much for snap and pass ….

Thank you for making SDRadio part of your internet travels today! See YOU on the radio today and here later in the broadcast week. More news, of course, as it happens.
