Stacy Taylor takes his mic to AM 1700

PD Mark Larson expands local coverage

Former 1360 KLSD host Stacy Taylor will be on the air starting Jan. 3 at 4 p.m. at San Diego 1700 AM. The move brings Stacy back to the airwaves and puts him in the afternoon drive spot until 7 p.m.

Program Director Mark Larson said, “The move will help the station expand its position as “really reflecting San Diego… mostly conservative, but not entirely.”"

Mark indicated there will be more on this move, as Stacy starts next Thursday.

KOGO Program Director Cliff Albert writes: “Stacy will be starting his new radio talk show next week…but not on AM 600 KOGO unfortunately. Stacy will be sending out an email shortly to his listeners to make the official announcement which I promised him he could make. But I can tell you he will be on a San Diego station, AM band, and it’s not 540, 760 or 1170. I was hoping we could work out a deal, but actually Stacy got a wonderful deal with his new employers and I am happy for him and I know he will do well. I will have more to say after Stacy and his new station make the announcement.
