Lincoln Financial is expected to announce the sale of KiFM, KSON-AM, KSON-FM and 94/9 this week. Industry insiders suggest the sale may be to a local group.

Mark Larson fills in for Michael Reagan today. He’ll be heard on San Diego AM 1700 at 7 p.m.

Clear Channel has a hiring freeze effective last Friday. As the company transitions from public to private, John Hogan said no more hires at all. First quarter projections are done, one of the reasons cited in the monetary cuts.
