Other duties include, but not limited to, dubbing air check tapes. Works extensively with the public. Two years radio/promotion experience preferred. MUST be able to work varied hours, including nights and weekends. Position requires a person that has good writing skills, organizational skills, and has strong customer service and follow through skills. Computer Skills (Microsoft, Web, Internet) a PLUS!! High School Diploma or Equivalent; Some College Strongly Preferred. Must have excellent driving record and be able set up canopies and booths which requires lifting at least 50 lbs on a regular basis.

• Interns: Promotions Department (Unpaid Internships) All Stations: Interns will work at on-site events/remotes which includes the set-up and breakdown of the promotional booth, canopy and equipment. Office duties include calling winners, filing, faxing, and setting up and maintaining web-site contesting. Must be able to work with the public and have a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Interns must be outgoing, personable, and have strong customer service and follow through skills. Computer Skills a PLUS!! In order to be an Intern for Clear Channel – You MUST be able to obtain school credit. (If interested in only working certain stations – indicate as such on cover letter, resume, and/or application.) Internships may also be available in Sales, Programming and Administration.

PROGRAMMING

• Board Op (2-PT) KLSD (job references #PD1507-04 – PD1607-04): These positions will be responsible for operating the audio console for various shifts and regulating the timing of programs and ensuring all commercials, EAS tests, promotions, and PSA’s are aired in both the studio and remote programming. Duties may include some production, call screening, and conducting/operating remote appearances from the studio. Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, early mornings, overnights, holidays, and weekends. One year radio experience; board op or similar experience preferred. Candidate must be able to work with people in a fast-paced environment, have good technical ability, be a creative thinker and require limited supervision. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Producer (1-FT/2PT) KLSD (job reference #PD2607-04 – PD2807-04): These positions will be responsible for coordinating and producing all elements of the talk shows and may be required to perform on-air segments. Duties include researching, developing and overseeing on-air material and assisting in developing different angles for show topics. Responsible for handling daily communications with talent, listeners, promotions and sales, and assisting in the imaging of the station. A minimum of one-year similar experience preferred, whereas senior positions will require a minimum of two-years similar experience. Position requires creative skills and ability to maintain and build strong media and listener relations. The candidate we are looking for will know how to make sports entertaining, credible, reliable AND will have a passion like no other for sports and programming.
