This is the week the primary process draws to a close Mark Larson of San Diego’s AM 1700 will be on news-partner KUSI-TV 51 (cable 9).
His role will be a political analyst. He’ll appear on-set at election central throughout the evening, along with the KUSI team led by Paul Bloom and Kelly Ryan. San Diego 1700 will also simulcast election coverage Tuesday night.
Mark will talk about the state, local and national primaries that take place.
Last Friday, Hilary, the former mid-day host of Star 94.1 was let go by Clear Channel Communications.
CBS Radio has a job opening for a promotion assistant. This is an entry-level, part-time position.
Job Description:
KyXy & Sophie are looking for outgoing, energetic, fresh new faces to join our part-time Promotion team. Members of the team will be responsible for promoting the image of the station at various events and appearances around San Diego. Candidates should enjoy promotional events and activities, and feel comfortable interacting with the public. This is not a desk job!
Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
• Duties include transporting, setting up and tearing down equipment.
• Must be comfortable interacting with the public by meeting and greeting listeners and conducting giveaways.
• Must be at least 18 years old, responsible and dependable.
• Must have flexible schedules – required to work weekends and evenings as necessary.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds without exertion.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record (no accidents or tickets/violations).
• A current printout of DMV driving record is required.
