New Country 95.7 afternoon host Mike O’Brian broke down and got ink the hard way. Mike writes, “My first tattoo - designed by my father-in-law, David, who is an INCREDIBLE artist! I gotta be honest with ya…I was SO nervous. Just didn’t know what the pain would be like…know what I mean? That first little slide of the needle going across your skin…That was the most terrifying part. Once he started though, honestly, it wasn’t so bad. I had been thinking about getting one for a long time.
Mike adds that his wife says it will be his only tattoo.
Tomorrow, the country station invites you to a special performance direct to your work desktop. Recording artist Taylor Swift will perform tomorrow …and the best part is, you can attend without missing work or leaving the house.

Michael Wiener, also known as Michael Savage, and heard on 760 KFMB has foot and mouth disease. Last week a federal judge dismissed his lawsuit against an Islamic civil rights group. The afternoon host sued the “Council on American-Islamic Relations”. He claimed the group violated his rights in a letter-writing campain to get advertisers to boycott his show. The group used segments of his radio program in the campaign. During one of his lengthy tirades, the host called the book of Quran “book of hate” and other questionable quips.
Then two weeks ago, the host upset parents of autistic children when he referred to them as “brats”.
In all, the host is the third most listened to host during the latest radio ratings. He is right behind Sean Hannity. Also: A press release by one group said two national chains had dropped their advertising on the Talk Radio Network show. That’s all good except the two companies cited … did not advertise on his show.
The autistic comment has cost the show host stations in Mississippi and in Oregan.
