Duo are at odds with Governor

johnandken.jpgKFI’s John and Ken made news at the Union-Tribune. The afternoon hosts at the LA powerhouse, that includes a sizable San Diego audience base, were the target of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

To help “settle” the budget crisis, the governor wants to hike the sales tax a full percent for three years. John and Ken, who were the first to jump on the Arnold bandwagon in 2003, have had enough of the skulduggery. In their afternoon show on KFI, the duo pointed out what Arnold’s platform was and his promises. The only thing delivered, John and Ken claim, is the repel of the tripling of the auto tax.

Chris Reed of the paper, was on in the 6 p.m. hour to discuss what the governor has on tap and the slight-of-hand the temp tax tort will do.

See the paper’s take at Chris Reed’s UT page.
